Since the iPhone was released and the cats and mice game has started... some rounds for the cat (Apple), but most of the rounds were for the mice (iPhone Dev Team).
It has been a while since the iPhone firmware version 1.1.2 was released and no one was able to hack it. Just till today and after 3 days of Apple releasing the new firmware version 1.1.3. Geo Hotz has done it again, he hardware hacked iPhone with version 1.1.2; which means that a software hack will be released very VERY soon.
I've read the steps and have 2 iPhones, I might try his hack and risk bricking one of them, but it's worth the experience ;) and hey.. if I did brick it, I would end up having a great sexy expensive paperweight, and would sell it on ebay :D
