The objectives are:
- Facilitate smooth and systematic knowledge sharing, through social interactions between hard core techies.
- Engage in group-exploration of IT related challenges in career aspects, technologies, change, and management
- Broaden the views of the participants to facets of business and customer driven necessities in the pursue of technological ecstasies
- Direct the members' energies and frustrations towards positive and focused intellectual challenges
Here are the suggested "Terms of Conduct". Please feel free to amend or add your own
- A social, semi-formal gathering of interested techies on a frequent basis
- An online forum/blog briefing on the gathering and the topics/discussions raised, to be maintained by the group members for the members.
- Guests of sound and deep expertise of a knowledge body of interest to the members are welcomed to participate. this practice is elemental to diversify the knowledge
- Members should have/show good command and moderate knowledge of IT
- Everybody should participate
- Bringing TV and PC closer, the dreambox way
- Let's Opensource: Open Source tools for Developers, IT Specialists, Database Admins,
- Games that matter: Gaming socio-technical stuff
- RSS rules: using RSS reader to gather and access information
- Mashups: the new wave on the net
- Web 2.0: the reincarnation
