My IPOD sad day

This week was a very bad for me as an IPOD user. First let me admit two things. If Windows moved the PC culture to every where then Apple moved the MP3 culture to ever ear. As a matter of the life, happiness never last for so long, I was very happy with my IPOD mini (what is called Fourth Generation) until I had noticed that my IPOD could not be charged and when it charged its life was very short.
Now here is the sad thing, I had approached the dealer and he said “Sorry we do not stock batteries, but if you bring battery I will replace it for you with BD 10 !!!!”, he had advised me for a another shop to buy from, that shop did not have batteries also. I was shocked when I cam to know that Apple does not provide batteries for their products and they only replace it during the warrant period. Funny is it? Definitely my life jacket was the net where I had to search for tow things, the first is a guide of how to open the IPOD and the second a place where to buy the battery from. For the first one thank to CNET site where they have a step by step with video to open and replace the IPOD battery in few minutes. My son was very happy with information and he shared disassembling it in few mints. I got another slap when I found a site that sells batteries http://www.ipodbatteries.com/ and http://www.amazom.com/ (through a third parties) but they do not ship outside of US.
Dear techies any help?.

Batteries are a common problem for many new electronic devices. To prolong the battery life, you should exercise it by allowing it to be completely discharged now and then.

Anyway my ideas are either check Saudi for bigger computer / Apple shops, or get the Aramex US post code. That way you have a US address (by Aramex) and then Aramex ships it to you. It was not that expensive, and worth it for these occasions. If this is a one time thing, then ask around, somebody may already have that Aramex setup and will let you ship it to his/her address.
