As a typical IT guys, we love to mess around with our machines. They're never perfect. Files are never were they're supposed to be. For example, you can't help the urge of moving a music file you found in My Documents folder to My Documents\Music folder, although it maybe a silly file you don't need! So you sit and organise to make your machine a home you love to get back to. It's where you know where everything is placed with all the settings. You're the master and in command.
To cut the story short, as I was cleaning up and tidying my so called home, I wanted to move my personal folder from C:\ to another volume. And guess what!!!! It's not as simple as when done in XP!!!!
Trying to stand up to the challenge of something as simple as re-pointing my default profile save location in WINDOWS, I messed around and tried a couple of things such as right clicking the folder with my login name in the C:\Users folder and see if I can move the folder. That didn't work so I tried Mr.Google and as it turns out, moving individual folders such as pictures, documents and music is as simple as right clicking and changing the Location. However, my problem was moving all user profiles and I didn't want to have to move 7 or 8 folders per user individually so I tried Google again and I found this blog, so I thought I'll share.

Some challenge huh! I spent at least 1 hour trying to figure it out without help ;)
